Virginia Beach will host Costa Rican surfers for an important QS event

The Nationals will seek to conquer the waves of Virginia Beach.

Today could mark the start of the fifty-seventh edition of the Vans Pro QS 3,000 pt stop of the World Surf League.

This important qualifying event takes place on the waves of Virginia Beach, with national surfers present who will seek to take the honors at the event.

According to the event's registration list, five Costa Ricans will face this tough challenge in Virginia, California.

In the Open category, Sam Reidy representing Costa Rica and national Anthony Fillingim will start their action from the first round in series four and five respectively.

Tamarindo native Tomas King will start the Vans Pro from the third heat of round 2, while Carlos Muñoz will start from the third round in the thirteenth heat.

In the junior category, Aarón Ramírez from Jacoba, along with Sam Reidy, will begin their staggered run from series #2 and #7 of the first round.

The competition is scheduled to begin today, however, the start time is not yet defined.
