LifeMiles presents the news of the day.
National surfers advance to the third round of the Pan American Games and show strength in the competition.

The day of competition has concluded for the national team that is in Peru competing in the Lima 2019 Pan American Games for a place in Tokyo 2020.
This second day of action saw nationals Noe Mar McGonagle and Anthony Fillingim in the water.

The first to participate was McGonagle who, with great determination, took first place in the heat, combining 15.40 points and advanced to the third round where he will face the Peruvian Luca Messina.

Later, the opportunity arose for the local player from Santa Teresa, Anthony Fillingim, who faced the Venezuelan Francisco BellorÃn, demonstrating what he is made of and overcoming the series in the final seconds and thus consolidated Costa Rica as the only country in the Games with its two Open representatives in the third round of the main event.

Fillingim, now in round 3, will have to face Salvadoran Brian Pérez, who has shown consistency in the competition.
Countries like Argentina, Peru, Venezuela, among others have fallen into the repechage and will have to seek the only spot to Tokyo 2020 on a path where the opportunity for failure is unforgivable.

Tomorrow the Open category in the main event will not take place, however, the Longboard category will race on the waves of Punta Rocas and Anthony Flores will have to face the Peruvian Benoit Clemente and the Argentinian Surfiel Gil in the first round series at 10:40 (national time).
