Jaco Walk presents the news of the day.

Caribeño advances to the third round in Huntington Beach.

The action continues at the Junior World Surfing Games at the famous Huntington Beach pier, and Costa Rican surfers will see action in both the men's and women's categories, leaving one Costa Rican in the third round and four nationals in the repechage.

The national category most affected by the difficult conditions in this American wave were the Under 18 Paulina Summers Viquez, Coral Wiggins Araya, Eva Woodland and in the male category Sebastián Mora who would fall to the repechage round.

The first victory for the national team on Tuesday would come from Aarón Ramirez, who had not seen action in his Under 16 category yesterday and joined his compatriots Leonardo Apreda and Darshan Antequera.

The second victory would come from the Caribbean Cedric McCrakin who advanced solidly to the third main round of the event and is among the top 50 in the world competition.

In the women's under-16 category, the three Costa Rican competitors made a solid showing today, with Indiana Ferri, Paulina Summer, and Rachel Aguero advancing to the second main round.

The action continues tomorrow at the famous Orange County, California pier, and Malakai Martinez, one of our country's top players, will face competition.
