Tico triumphs at the NSSA Southwest Conference in the United States

Darshan Antequera and Ethan Hollander will race several NSSA events.
Costa Rican surfers Darshan Antequera and Ethan Hollander are in the United States competing in the National School Surfing Association (NSSA) trials.
The national team members compete in these events to maintain their competitive rhythm and improve their level, after being major contenders in the 2019 National Surf Circuit.
Both surfers will compete in four NSSA events, one of which took place this past weekend in Huntington Beach, with Ethan Hollander winning the Under 12 category in the Southwest conference.
On the other hand, Darshan unfortunately did not reach the final in the Open category, however, he showed a good level and hopes to achieve a better result in the next event which will be next Saturday, September 14th in the Explorer category.
