Ticas con rendimiento perfecto afrontarán la segunda jornada del Mundial de Surf en Japón

Costa Rican surfers with perfect performance will face the second day of the World Surfing Championship in Japan.

The national female team will compete with great enthusiasm on the second day of the World Open Surf Championship in Japan.

Early this morning, another edition of the World Surfing Games of the International Surfing Association (ISA) began.

Costa Rica has started strongly with the female representation, qualifying both nationals to the next round who would see action in difficult conditions that arose on the first day in Miyaki, Japan.

Leilani McGonagle will now face Sofia Mulanovich of Peru, Fanny Bulman of Switzerland and Leticia Canales of Spain in the second round.

Brisa Hennessy, for her part, will face Cannelle Bullard, Fiji's Hannah Bennet and the local player, Sara Wakita.

The third Costa Rican surfer in the event, Eva Woodland, has yet to compete in the first round. However, tonight at about 6:40 pm , she will be the first to enter the water for Costa Rica, facing surfers from Canada, Denmark, and Turkey.
