Surfers and paraffin wax designed for surfboards could help prevent climate change in the oceans

San Marcos University presents the news of the day.
Carbon emissions affect reefs and marine life in the oceans.
The damage that humans have caused to the earth also directly affects the oceans, and carbon emissions have caused more acidity in our seas, thus killing thousands of species and reefs around the world.
Because of this problem, an Australian foundation undertook the task of manufacturing a paraffin that counteracts acids harmful to marine biodiversity.
The foundation urges wax brands to use the formula to help the planet, since according to UNESCO, if we do not act by 2100, more than 50% of the world's marine life will become extinct.
How does paraffin work?
The formula used to create paraffin contains a natural substance capable of neutralizing harmful acids found in the ocean, thus contributing to a positive change in climate, where studies have shown that a gradual, dosed change could be the key to safeguarding millions of marine species.
But where do surfers come into play? The foundation provides the answer by stating that surfers are an ideal group for this use, due to their frequent visits to the ocean for surfing, and this practice could deposit microdoses that greatly benefit the oceans.
The Australian association is already in contact with various companies around the world for the use of the paraffin formula in special dinners for surfboards.

Figures of the President of the United States and other government leaders who deny climate change have been used in the paraffin to try to raise awareness.
