Surfistas ticos tendrán gran actividad internacional en el mes de marzo

Costa Rican surfers will have a busy international schedule in March

LifeMiles presents the news of the day.

Nine national representatives will be competing in events in the United States and Barbados this March.

With a total of eight Costa Rican surfers and a national representation, the Ron Jon Pro, Barbados Surf Pro and Jack's Surfboards Pro events, stops of the World Surf League (WSL), are approaching.

These QS competitions will take place in March and will have Open, Ladies and Junior Pro Male and Female categories.

The tournaments will take place in the United States and Barbados in the following order:

- Ron Jon Pro 1500 pts, Cocoa Beach (March 12 to 15): Tomas King, Malakai Martínez and Jaír Pérez.

- Ron Jon Junior Pro 1,000 pts, Cocoa Beach (March 12-15): Male: Sam Reidy, Darshan Antequera. Female: Paulina Summers.

- Barbados Surf Pro 3,000 pts, Soup Bowl Beach (March 17-22): Men: Tomas King, Malakai Martinez, Noe Mar McGonagle. Women: Rubiana Brownell (representing Costa Rica), Eva Woodland and Paulina Summers.

- Jack's Surfboards Pro 1,500 pts, Huntington Beach (March 26-29): Men: Noe Mar McGonagle, Malakai Martínez. Female: Rubiana Brownell (representing Costa Rica), Paulina Summers (alternative).
