National surfer advances to the quarterfinals at important QS stop in South Africa

Carlos Muñoz one step away from the Ballito Pro 2019 semi-finals.

The Costa Rican surfer from Esterillos Oeste managed to overcome the eighth and ninth rounds of the Ballito Pro 2019, a 10,000 pt QS stop.

Muñoz faced world-class athletes and displayed a determination in his style that solidifies him as an important representative of Latin American board sports.

The event will continue tonight and could start at 11:30 (Costa Rican time).
