The Salvadoran waves host the best surfing in the world, and the Surf City El Salvador Pro promises great excitement.
For some CT surfers, it's their first time surfing in El Salvador; for others, it's a reminder of old times when they visited the Central American country to represent their nation in an International Surfing Association (ISA) world championship. However, whatever the reality of each surfer, they all agree on one thing: they are excited for the Surf City El Salvador Pro 2022 to begin and to enjoy the competitive conditions.
Surfers of the caliber of Jordy Smith, Lakey Peterson, Isabella Nichols, Brisa Hennessy, among many others, are already in El Salvador and have shown on their social networks their happiness at being in the Central American country.

Another surfer already surfing in El Salvador is Costa Rican Carlos Muñoz, who will be making his return to the CT after an injury that took him out of the 2022 season. For this event, he received a wildcard that gives him the opportunity to measure his level on a wave very similar to those he finds in his home country.

The Surf City El Salvador Pro 2022 is gearing up and great excitement is expected, along with a large number of spectators who will have the opportunity to see the best surfers in the world just a few meters away.
The first competition is scheduled for this coming Sunday, June 12th; however, it will depend on the event organizers whether it starts on this day or if they wait for better wave conditions.

Surfing Republica will be present at the Surf City El Salvador Pro 2022 and we will bring you all the details of the event.
