Surf City El Salvador will host dates for the shortboard and longboard world tour in 2023.
The year 2023 will be packed with important events in El Salvador, and Surf City will host a stop on the World Surf League Shortboard Tour for the second year in a row. It will once again take place on the stunning right-hand breaks of Punta Roca, La Libertad, from June 9th to 18th.

But in addition, the Central American country will also host a date of the world tour in the longboard category and the best riders in this board modality will be on the waves of El Sunzal to compete in the Surf City El Salvador Longboard Classic between September 19 and 25. 
This year, El Salvador made history as the first Central American country to host a CT event, an event that concluded with a perfect score after exciting days of competition, leaving American Griffin Colapinto and Stephanie Gilmore as the big winners of the Surf City El Salvador Pro.

In this past edition, local surfer Bryan Pérez managed to win the trials of the event and was present representing the local country, in addition Carlos Muñoz accompanied Pérez along with Brisa Hennessy, defending the actions of the Central American region.

There is no doubt that in this new edition the emotions and the best surfing in the world will live up to this type of event and we will once again enjoy a hospitable and great sponsoring country, El Salvador.
