Today marked the completion of the second day of competition at the Surf City ALAS Pro Tour.

The first to see action were Axel Castro and Nadav Attar at the close of the second round of the Open category; however, the scores obtained placed them in third and fourth position, respectively.

In the third round of the same category, Costa Rican Esteban Chaves advanced first in his heat and will compete again in round 5 on Friday afternoon. Tosh Talbot, Sam Reidy, Darshan Antequera, and Óscar Urbina all finished second in their respective heats, while Aaron Álvarez, despite finishing third in his heat, will have another chance, starting his competition in round 3. All five athletes will face off in the fourth round in head-to-head heats, where only the first-place finisher will advance.

The Costa Rican representatives present in round 4 of the Open category will play their series tomorrow, Friday, November 25, as follows:

Today it was also the ladies' turn, a category in which Rubiana Brownell (14.50 pts) and Taylor Bradley (9.00 pts) managed to advance to the next round, both in second position in their heats, while Kristel Stanley says goodbye to the competition.

The three Costa Ricans in the Junior category advanced in first position in their heats to the quarter-finals of the event: Tosh Talbot stood out with the best score in his category (17.00 pts), Nadav Attar (14.83 pts) and Axel Castro (13.50) pts.

Meanwhile, the longboard competitors began their participation today, with Dorian Torres, scoring 17.33 points, and Anthony Flores, with 12.17 points, advancing in first place in their respective heats. In the second round, the Costa Ricans faced each other in the first heat, but both managed to achieve the two highest scores and advance to the quarterfinals.
