The capacity restrictions and QR code requirements are eliminated in all establishments with a health permit to operate.
As of today, April 1st, the total lifting of the health measures imposed due to Covid-19 is taking place.
Government authorities made this decision due to an improvement in the epidemiological situation in the country.
“The cases show a sustained decrease and we are at a point where the number of people who have been vaccinated and the number of people who have been infected already allows us to start charting a progressive, but responsible, path,” highlighted Daniel Salas, Minister of Health, at that time.
Currently, three doses of the vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 have been approved, and for people over 50 years of age and immunocompromised cases, a fourth dose could be applied.
Health authorities do emphasize the importance of continuing with preventive measures to avoid possible new infections and massive outbreaks.
