Women entered the competition and were crowned champions of the SUP Surf category at Playa Venao.
Yesterday it was the turn of the women's category and the finalists of the SUP Surf discipline, where both men and women put on a show on a beach that is gradually filling up with more spectators.
Although the day was somewhat slow due to the weather conditions, the good surfing was always present thanks to the wise decisions of the organizers, who stopped the event at specific times to wait for better conditions and safeguard the integrity of the competitors from a relentless electrical storm that visited Playa Venao, Panama.

In women's SUP surfing, the champion was Argentina's Lucia Cosoleto, who demonstrated that in addition to the shortboard, she can also handle a paddle and a larger board with great skill. In the men's competition, Brazil's Luiz Diniz dominated the final series, scoring a total of 16.17 points and securing the gold medal in Venao.
The ladies started their competition in shortboard and Brazil and Peru once again showed that they bring strong teams and will also be looking for medals in this category.

Costa Rica has managed to place two of its four athletes in the second round of this Pan American stop, and both Rachel Agüero and Ericka Berra will give it their all today, Friday, in search of the tournament finals.
