Surfing Republica - Representantes ticos disputarán parada ALAS en México

Surfing Republica - Costa Rican representatives will compete in the ALAS stop in Mexico

Playa Linda in Mexico will host a five-star stop on the ALAS Pro Tour and could bring surprises in the rankings.

The Femex ALAS Pro Tour will be a five-star stop and will take place from November 10-13 in Playa Linda - Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, Mexico.

A commitment that could cause changes in the ranking positions and thus make the definition of the next Latin American champions even more complicated.

The competition will feature four categories: men's open, women's open, longboard, and junior. Our country will not have any competitors in the women's category, despite Rubiana Brownell currently leading the tour.

Brownell will be unable to attend the event because she is scheduled to compete in the Super Girl Surf Pro, a QS stop on the World Surf League tour. The other national representatives will also be absent due to sporting commitments and personal reasons.

In the men's open category, our country will be represented by: Maykol Torres, Óscar Urbina, Axel Castro, Cedric Mccrakin, Esteban Chaves, Tosh Talbot, Darshan Antequera, Aarón Álvarez, Nadav Attar, and Marcos Rojas. Our country currently holds second place in this category with Óscar Urbina, who will be aiming for the top spot in the Mexican waves.

The junior category will be represented by Tosh Talbot and Nadav Attar, while in longboard Anthony Flores from Jacob is registered.

Surfing Republica is in Mexico and will bring you all the details of what's happening with the Costa Rican representatives.
