Surfing Republica - Costa Rican representatives achieve important positions in the QS held in Florida


Rubiana Brownell achieves a third place in the QS and becomes her best sporting result in WSL stops.

The Costa Rican representatives with the best positions in the event would be; Rubiana Brownell, Rachel Agüero, Sam Reidy and Tosh Talbot who as of today were still competing in Florida.


At the QS event, Rubiana Brownell, from Guanacaste, achieved the best result, in fact, her best result in these competitions, reaching the semifinals and finishing in third place. Rachel Agüero was the second highest-placed athlete for our country, with a fifth-place finish.

In the Junior category, Sam Reidy and Tosh Talbot achieved the best results, both finishing in fifth place. In the women's category, Rachel Agüero finished seventh, while Rubiana Brownell finished ninth.


The surfers displayed very interesting surfing throughout the event and managed to finish in prominent positions.
