Surfing Republica - Playa Jacó recibirá parada latinoamericana de surf ALAS y concierto internacional

Surfing Republica - Jacó Beach will host the ALAS Latin American surfing stop and an international concert



Cultura Profética will close the event that combines surfing and good music.


To celebrate the 21st anniversary of Tsunami Sushi, the Asian food restaurant will hold the second edition of Tsunami Fest, an event that will feature the participation of the Puerto Rican roots reggae band Cultura Profética and will also host a Latin American Surf Tournament from the ALAS Pro Tour calendar.



The ALAS Latin American Surf Tournament is an event  Produced by Surfing Republica, the competition kicks off on Friday, July 14th, with the two-star event's open men's and women's categories being crowned on Saturday, July 15th. DJ Enso will provide the music on the beach.



The concert, which will take place on July 15th at a private property in Jacó, will also feature national artists such as Mekatelyu, Los Garbanzos, DJ Herbalist, DJ Chris and DJ Richard.


“Last year we had Gondwana and Los Pericos and we celebrated in a big way,” said Pedro Soto, CEO of Grupo Tsunami.

“We’re going to link it with a surf tournament, a Latin American tournament, where surfers from more than 14 different countries across Latin America will come. Furthermore, it’s a competition that qualifies for the Olympics,” Soto added.

Regarding prices, there are several ticket packages to choose from:

General combo: ₡44,957 and includes 10 pieces of sushi, beer and admission to the concert.

VIP Combo: ₡69,983 and includes 10 pieces of sushi, beer and admission to the concert with seating in front of the stage.

The festival is produced by Tsunami Concerts in conjunction with Surfing Republica and ABC Arquitectura.
