Tencio will have the 10park thanks to his efforts and the collaboration of BAC Credomatic.

Costa Rican Olympic athlete Kenneth Tencio Esquivel announced this Friday that the new Tencio Park will become a reality by the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023 thanks to the support of BAC Credomatic bank. Construction will begin in 15 to 22 days at the most, generating great excitement among the national athlete.
Gone are the empty promises and days of frustration stemming from government donations that never materialized. Recall that, after the Costa Rican athlete's successful participation in Tokyo 2020 , the Municipality of Garabito announced with great fanfare that they would donate land for the construction of a new park, but this never happened.

The bank will sponsor him as an athlete and will also sponsor his new ramp complex , which will be renamed BAC Park 10cio . The cooperation period between BAC Credomatic and Kenneth Tencio will be around three years, but this contract can be extended beyond the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Laura Moreno , vice president of corporate relations at BAC, explained at a press conference that the facilities will be built on a 1,500-square-meter lot, 800 of which are for the competition circuit. This training space for bicycles and skateboards has an approximate value of $700,000 , according to BAC.

Visibly moved by the news, Kenneth Tencio said at a press conference:
"The opportunity to have my own training complex was something that seemed impossible, just like going to the Olympic Games once was (...) The important thing was to focus on big things and make them happen. Today I woke up and thought that a few months ago I didn't even have it in mind, and today was going to be the launch."
He added:
When you truly want something, you have to show those people the sparkle in your eyes, how much you yearn for those things, and see it reflected in you as an athlete, in how hard you work when training. With BAC, I forged an alliance where they saw that from the very beginning, because I came looking for a loan and I was willing to do anything to build that park.”
According to Kenneth, the circuit will be enclosed , with the aim of protecting it from the traditional rains in Jacó. It will also have separate modules on the floor, allowing the ramps to be moved according to the upcoming competition.
BAC officials stated that Tencio initially came seeking a loan like any other citizen. This fact encouraged them to help him, as he is a young entrepreneur who is always striving to improve himself.

Kenneth has had a very positive week, as he also announced the sponsorship of the Taco Bell restaurant chain, which will be accompanying the national on his way to Paris 2024.
