Kelly Slater will host the Academy Awards
The American surfer will be joined by famous skater Tony Hawk and snowboarder Shaun White as part of the cast presenting the 94th Academy Awards. 
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awards ceremony will take place on March 27 in Los Angeles, California. 
Kelly has also had a brief stint in film and television during her sports career. How can we forget her role in the acclaimed series Baywatch alongside Pamela Anderson, in addition to various appearances in other series and films?
