Surfing Republica - Historic! Costa Rican national team members will compete for the first time in the Downhill Skateboarding World Championship

The National Downhill Skateboarding Team will compete in the 2022 World Skate Games, which will be held in Argentina in November.

Three Costa Ricans will make up the national downhill skateboarding team that will be competing in a world championship of this category for the first time in history.

Ángel Campos Araya (#1 in the national ranking), Allan Jordany Vargas Arias (#2 in the national ranking) and Dylan Solano Fernández (#3 in the national ranking), will be in charge of trying to leave the country at the top in San Juan, Argentina, the country that will host the world games from November 10 to 12.

“This event will set a precedent in the history of national skateboarding. It is the first Costa Rican team endorsed by a Federation. Costa Ricans have already participated in international competitions, but none like the World Games,” Ángel Campos told the media.
