Punta Roca did not disappoint with the conditions and the best surfers in the world showed off in El Salvador.

Emotions ran high during three days of competition at the Surf City El Salvador Pro 2022. The fight among the world's best surfers was fierce, but only two athletes would lift the trophy at the end of the event.
The event had interesting elements, such as the participation for the first time in history of a Salvadoran in the World Surf League (WSL), the return to competition in a CT of Caroline Marks, as well as the historic presence of three Central Americans in a date of the Dream Tour.
The waves at Punta Roca did not disappoint, and despite the difficult conditions at times during the event, the best surfing in the world captivated the spectators who came to this beautiful beach in El Salvador.

The surfing of the four finalists in both the men's and women's categories was very high, however it was the American Griffin Colapinto and the Australian Stephanie Gilmore who managed to come out with the victory.

Second place would go to Filipe Toledo and Lakey Peterson, while third place would go to Gabriel Medina, ĂŤtalo Ferreira, Caroline Marks and Johanne Defay.

The next stop on the world tour will be Brazil for the Oi Rio Pro, taking place from June 23 to 30.
