Surfing Republica - The wild east embraces the first day of competition of the Surf City ALAS Pro Tour with good waves
The fight for the continental title is up in the air and Costa Ricans will seek the feat in El Salvador.
Today the fight for the continental title began in Las Flores, El Salvador and all the categories in dispute have a large number of registered participants that motivate a great event.
The first and second rounds of the men's open category were scheduled for today at one of the countless picturesque and fantastic wave paradises in the Central American country, and Costa Rican representatives Tosh Talbot, Sam Reidy, Esteban Chaves, and Darshan Antequera have already advanced to the third round. Óscar Urbina and Aarón Álvarez have also secured their spots in this stage. Heat #8 of the second round, which includes Axel Castro from Limón, will be played tomorrow, as there wasn't enough daylight today to complete it.
The junior category also saw participation and the three Costa Rican representatives in the event, Tosh Talbot, Nadav Attar and Axel Castro, did their job and will continue the competition tomorrow. 
The action will continue tomorrow, Thursday, on the perfect right-hand waves of Las Flores, and all categories in contention at the event will see participation.
