Surfing Republica - Twelve Costa Rican representatives will compete in the Barbados Surf Pro 2023

The QS 5,000 pt stop will be the last qualifying opportunity to seek a spot in the Challenger Series.
This date will have a significant number of QS points at stake and will also be the last opportunity to improve the qualifying ranking and seek a place in the 2023 Challenger Series.
The Barbados Surf Pro will be of vital importance and the Costa Rican surfers are aware of this, therefore they have taken the commitment very seriously and with a total of 12 representatives they will compete in this stop.

Starting in the round of 96 male competitors will be: Sam Reidy, Esteban Chaves, Arón Álvarez, Anthony Fillingim, Nadav Attar, Darshan Antequera, and Tosh Talbot. Meanwhile, Malakai Martínez and Tomas King will start in the round of 64. 
In the women's division, the Costa Rican representatives will be Rubiana Brownell, Leilani McGonagle and Rachel Agüero, the latter will start from the round of 40 surfers, while Brownell and McGonagle will start from the round of 32.
The Barbados Surf Pro QS 5,000 pts will start from March 27th and could extend until April 2nd.
