Surfing Republica - Darshan Antequera, Leilani McGonagle and Rubiana Brownell stand out at Barbados QS event
The national representatives achieved two third places and one fifth place in Soup Bowl.
Costa Rican representatives Leilani McGonagle, Rubiana Brownell and Darshan Anquera achieved prestigious places in the Barbados Surf Pro and in both open and junior categories, the Costa Ricans shone on the waves of the Caribbean island.
Leilani McGonagle achieved a third place in the open and added 1,950 points to her personal ranking. With this, the national hopes to climb positions and place herself among the eight candidates to compete in the Challenger series. 
In the junior pro category, Darshan Antequera finished in fifth place, while Rubiana Brownell took third place in the QS event.
