Hawaii lost the top spot in the ranking, followed by Australia, the third spot went to the United States, and France closed in fourth place.

After nine intense days of competition, the eighteenth edition of the ISA World Junior Championship concluded today, an event attended by the best surfers under 18 and 16 years of age in the world.
The top four spots in the event went to Hawaii, Australia, the United States, and France in fourth place. The overall level of competition was quite high; however, these four nations demonstrated the heavy workload they carried for the event.
Our country finished in fourteenth place in the event, above nations such as Tahiti, Mexico, Italy, among others, and with the technical direction of Diego Naranjo, the team always sought to do the best possible job despite the little competitive rhythm with which most of the team arrived at the games, this without taking into account the debut for many of these athletes in a world championship.
