Surfing Republica - Costa Rica continues with the full team after the fourth day of competition at the Junior World Surfing Championship

Costa Rica is left without competitors in the main event, however, it maintains 100% of its team with options from the repechage round.

Today was the fourth day of competition at the Surf City El Salvador ISA World Junior Surfing Championship 2022 and our country had five athletes participating, two in the main round and three from the repechage.

Erika Berra and David Monge were in the main round of the under 16 categories, however, today they fell in their respective heats and will now continue on the path of the repechage.

Later, in the first repechage round, surfers Jesús Pérez and Tosh Talbot in Under 18 and Rachel Agüero in Under 16, secured their passages to the second repechage round.

The Costa Ricans face a long road ahead in their quest to reach the tournament finals or at least accumulate the most points for Costa Rica, as they are all in the repechage rounds. However, the entire team maintains its medal aspirations intact, and it will depend on each player and the coaching staff to achieve a good result for our country.

The action will continue tomorrow in El Salvador, and in a few hours we will provide you with the schedule for the fifth day of competition.
