Hennessy will face France's Johanne Defay and Australia's Bronte Macaulay.

Today at 7:30 pm (Costa Rican time), the sixth CT stop, the Pro G-Land, could be starting. It returns to the world tour and has its first call scheduled for 8:30 am in Banyuwangi, Indonesia.
This competition has the unique feature of a change in the tournament format. The first round will still be a qualifying round, but unlike the previous five rounds this year and in previous years, where two male athletes qualified for the round of 32 competitors, while two female surfers advanced to the round of 16 competitors, now only one surfer will qualify from the initial round. However, in the male category, they will advance to the round of 16 competitors, and in the female category, they will reach the quarterfinals. The other two competitors will have to face the elimination round.

The event will be vital for Costa Rican Brisa Hennessy, who leads the world tour ranking; however, she will have to prove what she is made of if she wants to continue wearing the yellow jersey for the rest of the year.
Hennessy will open the event facing France's Johanne Defay and Australia's Bronte Macaulay in the second series of the tournament.
