Surfing Republica - Brisa Hennessy advances to the quarterfinals of the Bells Beach Pro
Brisa Hennessy is among the top eight surfers at the 2022 Bells Beach Pro.
Costa Rican Brisa Hennessy secured her place in the quarterfinals of the fourth CT stop being held in Australia.
The Matapalo native overcame Hawaiian Luana Silva in a heat that she dominated with great force, combining a total of 13.57 pts.
With this, the Costa Rican continues her defense of the top spot in the world rankings. Fortunately for her, some of her closest rivals have fallen today; however, there are still competitors who could threaten her world leadership.
Now Hennessy will face the winner of the eighth series of round 16 competitors, who will be either Johanne Defay or Isabella Nichols.
