Costa Rican surfer Brisa Hennessy managed to beat Frenchwoman Johanne Defay with a combination of 11.60 pts and thus advance to the semifinals of the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach 2022.
Hennessy continues to defend her CT ranking lead and in the semifinals she will face her closest rival, Carissa Moore. 
The next call for competition is scheduled for tomorrow at 3:00 pm (Costa Rican time).
