Surfing Costa Rica - Health-related vehicle restrictions will be lifted for weekends starting March 1st

The measure was announced today at a press conference and will apply from March 1st.
Health Minister Daniel Salas announced today at a press conference that, starting March 1st, the health-related vehicle restriction will be eliminated for weekends.
This measure does not apply to the restricted nighttime hours, which will now be from Monday to Sunday from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am. 
Additionally, the sanitary vehicle restriction by license plate remains in place from Monday to Friday in downtown San Jose.
In general terms , the health-related vehicle restriction is as follows:
- Monday - License plates ending in 1 and 2 are allowed to circulate throughout the country, except in the central area of ​​San Jose.
- Tuesday - License plates ending in 3 and 4 are allowed to circulate throughout the country, except in the central area of ​​San Jose.
- Wednesday - License plates ending in 5 and 6 are allowed to circulate throughout the country, except in the central area of ​​San Jose.
- Thursday - License plates ending in 7 and 8 are allowed to circulate throughout the country, except in the central area of ​​San Jose.
- Friday - License plates ending in 9 and 0 are allowed to circulate throughout the country, except in the central area of ​​San Jose.
- Saturdays - All vehicles can pass.
- Sundays - All vehicles can pass.

The President assured at the conference that this measure will be implemented as long as there is no increase in cases of COVID-19, since if there is, the restrictive measures will return to how they were previously in place.
