Surfing Costa Rica - Beaches will open with specific hours

Ministry of Health opens beaches for individual use.

Today, the Minister of Health, accompanied by the President of the Republic, announced the new guidelines for the country regarding COVID-19.

A slight easing of restrictions was implemented, addressing the issue of beaches, which will be enabled at a specific time for individual use.

The schedule provided by the Ministry of Health is from 5:00 am to 8:00 am on weekdays; weekends will not yet be available.

The Minister of Health stressed that crowds should not form and that if this point is not respected, the beaches will be closed again.
