Surfing Costa Rica - Costa Rica says goodbye to the Junior World Surfing Championship in El Salvador

Costa Rica is left without participants on the seventh day of competition at the Surf City El Salvador ISA World Junior Championship 2022.

Today our country competed again in the Junior World Surfing Games and with six surfers still in competition, the Costa Ricans tried to do their best.
Unfortunately, in the morning we would see Erika Berra, Lia DÃaz, Axel Castro and Tosh Talbot fall, while Ethan Hollander and David Monge managed to advance one more round and would surf again.
Later in the afternoon, during the fifth round of repechage, both David Monge and Ethan Hollander finished in third place in their heats and were eliminated from the tournament, leaving Costa Rica without any participants in the event.
But not everything is disappointment for the national team, as this generation of surfers showed enormous courage and a desire to fight to the end for their country's colors, elements that undoubtedly mark great athletes.
