Surfing Costa Rica - Carlos Muñoz will seek the Latin American surfing title tomorrow in El Salvador

The action continues in La Bocana, El Salvador, at the Surf City Alas Tour 2020, a stop that will define the next Latin champion in the open category.

Today, three men's rounds and one women's round were held in series that were very evenly split between competitors from all over Latin America. Some Costa Ricans lost their battles in the water; however, Costa Rica remains in contention for the Latin American title, and the responsibility of securing this medal will fall to Carlos Muñoz, who will have to overcome the waves of La Bocana and a semifinal against the Peruvian Lucca Mesinas.

In the women's competition, our country is left without any participants, after Leilani McGonagle lost to Analí Gómez in a very close heat today.

Tomorrow the action will continue at Surf City and national Carlos Muñoz will be in the first semifinal of the competition.
