Surfing Costa Rica - Brisa Hennessy will face a historic figure in women's surfing in Narrabeen

Costa Rican surfer will face the first women's series of the third date of the Championship Tour.

The third stop of the WSL world surfing tour is expected to begin on April 16 (Australian date), where a Costa Rican surfer will be competing.

Brisa Hennessy this season has added two ninth places, for a total of 5220 pts and is in fifteenth position.

In 2021, Hennessy has faced Sally Fitzgibbons, Johanne Defay, Stephanie Gilmore, Caroline Marks (twice), Courtney Conlogue, Malia Manuel, and Keely Andrew. In Narrabeen, Australia, she will face Malia Manuel again, as well as the legendary Stephanie Gilmore, in the first heat.

The Costa Rican showed a high level in Newcastle, however, she did not have the desired luck and said goodbye to the match, leaving a feeling that the Tica is destined for great things and now in New South Wales, she will have a new opportunity to prove it.

These CT dates are of vital importance for surfers who have a ticket to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, as they provide a high level of challenge and help them maintain their performance at its peak.

Surfing Republica will closely follow the Costa Rican's performance in the third CT event and we will bring you all the details.
