Rumbo a los Juegos Panamericanos de Surf Lima 2019 con Valeria Salustri

On the road to the Lima 2019 Pan American Surf Games with Valeria Salustri

Bevu presents the news of the day.

Guanacasteca tells us about her aspirations for the 2019 Pan American Surf Games in Peru.

The National Team that will represent us at the Lima 2019 Pan American Games in Peru is made up of: Valeria Salustri (Sup Race), Anthony Flores (Longboard), Noe Mar McGonagle and Anthony Fillingim (Open Men's).

We chatted a bit with Valeria Salustri, who will be competing in the SUP Race category, and here's the interview:

What is your main goal in the Games?

Valeria: Mainly I want to go and give my all for the country, if possible I want to bring home a medal and if not, to finish in the top 6 of the games.

How has the preparation for Lima 2019 been?

Valeria: As I have always done, training and being consistent in and out of the water.

What is the perception of the event venue's location?

Valeria: The wave here was something I managed to master last year, however, this year the swell is going to be bigger.
I believe that in past events I have competed against most of the rivals I will have in this competition, so I know what level each of them is at.

What do you consider to be the most difficult aspect of the competition?

Valeria: I think the wave is quite heavy and the cold affects it a lot.
