Bevu presents the news of the day.
Santa Teresa's local team will seek qualification for Tokyo 2020.

The surfer with the best results at Punta Rocas, that's how we could describe Anthony Fillingim before competing in the Lima 2019 Pan American Games.
For Fillingim, this wave brings back good memories with two excellent results in his sporting career; however, the fight for the only spot that the games will award to Tokyo 2020 will be fiercely contested.

Fillingim is planning his move to Tokyo with a strategic plan, which he shared with us, and here is the interview.
What is your main goal in Lima 2019?
Fillingim: My main goal in Lima 2019 is to leave Costa Rica at the top of the podium, have fun with the team, not stress myself out, but rather surf smart and get through the heats.

Do you have any strategies to achieve this goal?
Fillingim: I plan to achieve this goal with discipline, effort, motivation, and by surfing each heat intelligently.

What do you think will be the most difficult thing to face in Peru during the games?
Fillingim: The month in which the Games are held is one of the coldest months in Peru, so we need to take the necessary precautions. Also, the swell is a very important factor, because if it's very big, we'll need to bring several boards.
