The canton of Garabito will witness this weekend the first edition of the 2019 Aquatic Lifesaving Games.
The event will take place at Jacó Beach and will feature lifeguards from across the country. National surfers and athletes will also be participating in this important activity.
“Our interest is to create a lifestyle linked to lifesaving as we have been doing for all these years, we have focused on education for children, young people and adults, now we want to focus on the sporting aspect,” said Marvin Chen, Head of Aquatic Lifesaving in Garabito.
Registrations for both competition categories have gone smoothly, guaranteeing a large number of participants.
