Jacó Beach offered excellent conditions for the 2019 Lifesaving Games.

This This weekend saw the first edition of the 2019 Lifesaving Games, a competition made possible thanks to the work of the Municipality of Garabito with its great Aquatic Rescue team and the support of Surfing Republica.

This first edition had a large number of participants and showcased the excellent human resources available on Costa Rican beaches.

The event was attended by a large number of special guests, as well as members of the general public who gathered in front of the Beach Break Hotel Resort to watch the competition.

In the Open category (over 18 years old) the male winners would be David Mora and Jordy Mendez, while Sydia Calderon and Graziela Leroy would receive the praise on the female side.

Meanwhile, in the under-18 category, the winners were Mason Esquivel and Jake Esquivel in the men's category, while Uma Pérez and Kira Valverde were the winners in the women's category.

An entertaining event, full of emotions and with a very positive goal to improve the performance of lifeguards on every beach in our country.
