Activity will help victims of fire in neighborhood of the capital.

This coming Sunday, September 29th, music will take over Club Dope in San Pedro, in order to help the victims of the fire that occurred in Barrio El Pochote, Barrio Cuba.

The event will feature twelve hours of musical performances by national bands and artists, where hope, unity, and good intentions will support the 300 people who lost their homes in the fire.
Among the bands that will collaborate in this charity event are: Ojo de Buey, Sonanmbulo, Mentados, La Milicia, among many others.

“It’s a collaborative effort by friendly bands, where we plan to hold an event to help those affected by the fire in Barrio Cuba. QEMG, the sound engineers, are also contributing, along with Dan, the stage technician, who has been handling the technical details. The idea is to have a free event; instead, we ask people to bring the equivalent of 3,000 colones worth of personal hygiene and non-perishable food items,” stated Jose Campos, manager of Republica Fortuna and part of the design team.

The event will begin at noon on Sunday and will have a symbolic value of donations and non-perishable food items.
