More than 100 competitors registered for The Guilded Iguana Cup

More than 100 competitors registered for The Guilded Iguana Cup in Guiones de Nosara on the second date of the Tsunami Sushi Super Groms 2023 circuit presented by O'neill.

Last weekend, Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1st, the second date of the Tsunami Sushi Super Groms circuit presented by O'neill took place, an event that consists of 4 dates and is exclusively for young people under 18 years of age and where, in addition, registration is completely free.

This edition was the Guilded Iguana Cup, and the competition took place at Playa Guiones in Nosara, a community that hosted the athletes for three consecutive days. The categories ranged from Under 8 and Under 10 mixed, where boys and girls competed within the same age group, to Under 12, Under 14, and Under 16 for both boys and girls.

More than 100 children were registered in this edition and from different nationalities such as Chile, United States, Israel, Canada, Sweden, Australia and of course Costa Rica.

This second edition was made possible thanks to the support of all the sponsors who have joined in the development of the new generations of Costa Rican surfers: The Guilded Iguana Surf Hotel, Tsunami Sushi, O'neill, Fuwax, Swell, Hang Teng Distribution, Sun Bum, Reef, Cámelo Bikinis, Banana Wax, Channel Island Surfboards, Bully's, Kailani Surfboards, Siempre Wifi and Lobo.
