Mario Pérez is crowned National Skimboard Champion 2019

National Skimboard Tournament determines its winners.

After six intense dates around the entire Costa Rican Pacific coast, the winners of the National Skimboard Circuit of our country were crowned.

The fight for victory on each date would be arduous and require a lot of strength to earn the praise, which with constancy and determination throughout the tournament would make Mario Pérez, a local surfer from Playas del Coco, be crowned National Champion at the last stop in Playa Prieta, Guanacaste.

The circuit is supported and endorsed by the Costa Rican Surf Federation and had the support of different brands that made the six dates possible.

Some additional categories were awarded to the competition, such as photographer of the year, post of the year, and revelation of the year.

Revelation of the year: Richard Bonilla.

For next year, the Skimboard Sports Association, together with the Costa Rican Surf Federation, hopes to continue promoting the sport and continue holding this circuit.
