Leilani McGonagle y Rubiana Brownell competirán esta tarde en Japón

Leilani McGonagle and Rubiana Brownell will compete this afternoon in Japan.

Japan will host a QS 3,000 pt stop with surfers seeking a spot on next year's CT.


This afternoon the Hyuga Pro QS 3000 pts stop begins in Miyazaki, Japan.



This important qualifying stop is attended by surfers from all over the world who are looking for a spot on next year's World Surfing Tour.

Within this select group of athletes are Leilani McGonagle, a local from Playa Pavones, and Rubiana Brownell, a local from Playa Avellanas.

Both surfers will start in the tenth heat of round #1 and will face American Meah Collins and Japanese Maiko Miyasaka.

The commitment has the first call to competition for 3:30 pm (Costa Rican time), however, the conditions for the definitive start of the event must be observed.
