National BMX team achieves thirteenth position at the World Championship in Chengdu.

After a great performance in the qualifying round, Costa Rican Kenneth Tencio managed to join the semi-final round of the BMX Freestyle World Championship being held in China.
In the semifinals, Tencio took risks with maneuvers that could give him high scores and an eventual qualification for the final of the event.
The native of Cartago did not make it to the final, however, he finished in thirteenth position in the World Championship and with this he added the points required to be placed as the second best country in the world ranking, outside of the five places that had already qualified for the games.
The Costa Rican joins as the fourth person to qualify for our country at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
