Today, the dates for the Olympic and Paralympic Games were reinstated.

The Olympic Games will take place exactly one year later than planned, with the opening ceremony on July 23, 2021, and the closing ceremony on Sunday, August 8. The Paralympic Games, meanwhile, will begin on August 24 and close on September 5.

This will undoubtedly change some details that had already been planned in advance in the different disciplines to be contested, including surfing; however, it is hoped that everything will evolve in the best possible way and that the competitions will be a complete success.
