Brisa Hennessy will have to face Caroline Marks, Carissa Moore and Nikki Van Dijk in her quest to advance in the repechage.

The action continues at the World Surfing Games in Miyazaki, Japan, and today eight rounds were contested between the repechage series and the main event.

The national team members in the competition, Eva Woodland, Leilani McGonagle and Brisa Hennessy, would see participation, however, luck would not be on our side and both Eva Woodland and Leilani McGonagle would fall in their respective repechage series and would say goodbye to the competition, adding 240 pts and 400 pts respectively for our country.

On the other hand, the only national still in competition, Brisa Hennessy, will now have to seek a medal from the repechage round after falling in the fifth main round.

Hennessy will face the 124th heat of the eighth round of repechage and will measure her strength in a heat loaded with CT runners, such as Americans Caroline Marks, Carissa Moore and Australian Nikki Van Dijk.

After three intense days of competition, our country is in sixth position as a team and maintains the possibility of continuing to climb in the standings.
