Costa Rica finishes in thirteenth place at the Junior World Cup

The tricolor team is the third best nation in Latin America.
Today marked the end of another edition of the World Surfing Games in the under-18 category, where Costa Rica was present with the best of its national talent. 
Our country faced the games with a team full of experienced athletes despite their young age and children with great potential. 
The best positioned Costa Rican in the event would be Malakai MartÃnez from Guanacaste, who would finish in 11th place, while in the ladies the best positioned in the ranking was the Caribbean Paulina Summers with the 25th place.
In Under 16 the best for our country were Aarón Ramirez (#17) and Indiana Ferri (#37). 
The winner of the Under 18 category was American Dimitri Poulos, who secured his victory in the second round of the repechage. In the Under 18 women's category, the winner was Hawaiian Gabriela Bryan. 
In the Under 16 category, the Junior World Champion was Jackson Bunch from Hawaii. In the women's category, the champion was Noah Lia Klapp from Germany. 
By nation, the winning country would be the United States, just as in the overall standings.
