Carlos Muñoz conoce sus rivales para la primera prueba de fuego en Hawái

Carlos Muñoz knows his rivals for the first test in Hawaii

LifeMiles presents the news of the day.

Nacional would start in the second round of the event and could compete on Thursday.

This coming Wednesday marks the start of the first real test for Costa Rican Carlos Muñoz's aspirations to enter the Dream Tour 2020.

And it's no wonder, since never before has a national been so close to being part of the big leagues of world surfing, and if Muñoz finds his surfing he could achieve it.

The Hawaiian Pro will be packed with the best surfers on the planet and the local from Esterillos Oeste will start in the first heat of the second round, where he is already seeded along with Hawaiian Joshua Moniz.

Muñoz will also face the winner of the first heat and the runner-up of the second heat of the first round.

These heats are composed of:

Heat # 1

Mihimana Braye (FRA)

Nolan Rapoza (USA)

Brodi Sale (HAW)

Tyler Newton (HAW)

Heat # 2

Mitch Crews (AUS)

Sheldon Simkus (AUS)

Marco Fernandez (BRA)

Chris Foster (HAW)

Carlos would need to advance four series and reach the semifinals of the event, in order to put himself in a great position before the last QS 10,000 pts stop of the year.
