Nacional will measure his level in the Mexican Skimboard Championship.

After winning the title of National Skimboard Champion 2019, local national skimboarder Mario Pérez from Playas del Coco traveled yesterday to Mexico to face the national date of the Aztec country.

The Costa Rican Skimboard Sports Association awarded Pérez the ticket and registration for the Mexican skimboard championship after he finished in first place in the national ranking.

The Costa Rican will race in the Melaque, Mexico wave this weekend, and the level of the event is world-class.

The idea behind sending the National Champion on behalf of the National Skimboard Association is to showcase and measure strength internationally, and thus establish a benchmark with the idea that next year it will not just be one athlete but more Costa Ricans.
