Costa Rican surfer will seek to accumulate the necessary points to enter the CT at the Ericeira Pro in Portugal.

Costa Rican surfer Carlos Muñoz is in Ericeira, Portugal to participate in the EDP Ericeira Pro, a QS 10,000 pts stop.

This qualifying stop is perhaps one of the most important that Muñoz has faced, because he could achieve his historic passage to the CT if the necessary results occur.

“Cali” could begin his staggered entry into the event early Wednesday morning, as the competition call is scheduled for 1:00 am (Costa Rican time).

The national team has two options for reaching the Dream Tour at this QS stop:

- To reach the quarterfinals in the commitment, however, they will have to wait for the actions of the top nine places in the qualifying table (discarding the current requalifications of Yago Dora and Deivid Silva).

- To reach the semifinals of the event where he would add 6,500 points and thus remain within the twelve qualified for the CT 2020.

The EDP Ericeira Pro started yesterday and heat #7 of round 2 was completed, where the Costa Rican in series #11 will face Australian Liam O'Brien, American Patrick Gudauskas and Moroccan Ranzi Boukhiam.
