Ecoxgear presents the news of the day.
Noe Mar McGonagle, Anthony Fillingim and Anthony Flores fell to the repechage today, Wednesday.

The national team had a complicated day of competition this Wednesday at the Lima 2019 Pan American Games.
The Costa Rican surfers began their action with Anthony Flores from Jacoba who, despite a great effort on the longboard, finished the series in third place and will have to seek a place in the final from the repechage round.

In the open category, Noe Mar McGonagle and Anthony Fillingim were in the main round of the event and although they were not entering the competition today, a modification in the event schedule meant that round 3 was played, resulting in the Costa Ricans falling to the repechage.

Now the Costa Ricans will advance to the fourth round of the repechage, where McGonagle will face the winner of the match between Alonso Correa (PER) and Leandro Usuna (ARG). Meanwhile, Fillingim will face the winner of the match between Santiago Muñiz (ARG) and Francisco Bellorin (VEN).

The tentative competition schedule for tomorrow, Thursday, is as follows:
Anthonny Flores – THURSDAY – Repechage 2 – 12:30 pm (winner of repechage round 1)
Noe Mar McGonagle – FRIDAY – Repechage 4 – 12:25 pm (winner of repechage round 3)
Anthony Fillingim – FRIDAY – Repechage 4 – 12:45 pm (winner of repechage round 3)
Costa Ricans at the US Open of Surfing.
Huntington Beach proved challenging for the Costa Rican team competing in the Junior Pro men's and women's rounds, resulting in the elimination of several Costa Rican surfers.
The conditions have been difficult today Wednesday and despite this, the national Eva Woodland brought out her best surfing and is already in the Junior Pro semifinals, remaining as the only national alive in the commitment.

Woodland will now face Americans Kyra Pikerson, Sawyer Lindblad and Alissa Spencer.Â
In the open category, Brisa Hennessy expects to see participation tomorrow, Thursday, in the third round where she will face Sally Fitzgibbons (AUS) and Minori Kawai (JAP).
